Following feedback from previous events, we have built in more time to help people reflect on, and where appropriate, discuss and prepare for dealing with potential issues back at work. Some delegates have had the opportunity to practice dealing with an issue and this has proved to be really beneficial. On that basis, could you print off the following template and use it to reflect on potential challenges or issues and we might get an opportunity to help you explore some ideas. This is definitely not mandatory and time is also dependent on the number of people who attend the event. |

This is an incredibly thought-provoking programme from the BBC called Is This Sexual Harassment. It was transmitted on Monday 15th January 2019 and this link is only available for five months from the transmission date on BBC iPlayer. If you do choose to watch the documentary, do make notes that might be useful to share and disuses at the workshop. It really is a relevant to the subject of harassment. BFI / BAFTA Guidelines
Please read through the BFI and BAFTA Guidelines. This is simply to refresh your understanding of the criteria and to reflect on your role in applying and monitoring the guidelines. This is a really useful document that can be used when new members join your production team. As part of their induction to the team or project, you can refer to the main points within this document. Even better, discuss your requirements towards anti-bullying and harassment and then give them a copy. As from 2018, you are expected to ensure all employees, workers and freelancers should be given a copy of the principles along with their contract and asked to sign a declaration to uphold the principles at the beginning of any work. |

A common reference point for all issues concerning employment is ACAS . Many organisations use this site as the starting point for developing their policies and procedures.
