What is One to One Coaching?

We provide professional one to one coaching for leaders, managers and emerging talent with a key responsibility for achieving organisational goals, developing strategy and getting the best out of their team, colleagues and professional partners.
Another service that we offer to managers of people is our one-day coaching skills workshop to develop senior leaders and managers with essential coaching skills, to support and develop those they work with.

Coaching is facilitating the development or learning of others to help them move forward in reaching their unique potential.
How does one to one coaching work?
This can be a one off session based on supporting you to discuss or develop ideas, challenges or situations that you need to move forward on. For longer term coaching relationships, we typicallyu provide three to six coaching sessions for up to one and a half hours. This can be arranged face to face or through an agreed remote communication approach based on whatever works for you.. .
The sessions are confidential as we support you work through key issues, ideas, difficulties, giving feedback, complex or challegning decisions that need to be done.
What do I need to do in thinking about one to one coaching?
What do you want to acheive or resolve? What is it you need to present and what would be the ideal outcome of a presentation? Who is it youi need to infleunce and why? What is it you would like to acheive in the next stage of your career? Do you have something to pitch and want to run through the wa yyou will gain interest?
These are typical initial thoughts. From that you the need to think about a goal or an outcome. Once done, give us an initial call to see if and how we can help. Of course there is no obligation from that initial call. We prefer you to reflect on some of the ideas from the call. If you think yes, this sounds right, then give us a follow up call and we decide a useful way forwad.
Based on that second call, we will send you a proposal for the one to one coaching support and the costs for that support.Often some people consider a first session only, just to see how irt might work and if its of use, then people continue with the coaching.
